Lifelong athlete.

Jake brings a unique perspective to his physical therapy practice having been involved in competing, coaching, and treating athletes for over 20 years. His goal is to get you back to enjoying the things you love, as quickly as possible.

He raced cross country and track in college for Willamette University and has continued running competitively ever since, completing 8 marathons including the New York, Chicago, and Boston marathons.

In addition to the doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) degree he earned at the University of Washington, Jake received a Master’s degree (MS) from Boise State University where he worked as a graduate assistant in the exercise physiology and biomechanics lab.

Jake’s other experiences include working in corporate wellness for Microsoft, Google, and Nintendo, teaching health education while living in India, and coaching cross country and track. When not at the clinic, Jake loves spending time with his wife and 2 daughters.

“After a stress fracture took me out of marathon training, Jake not only got me running again, but he coached me to become a stronger and healthier athlete.”
